With a new five-year plan in place, we are looking for dynamic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help deliver our mission - to support and empower local government leaders - with impact, innovation, and integrity. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will touch every aspect of our work and drive operational excellence, strategic transformation, and sustainable growth.
As part of the senior management team, you will work alongside the Managing Director and Executive Directors to develop and implement the strategic business plan and measure progress against it. Working collaboratively, you’ll set the tone for how we operate: dynamic, open, nurturing and expert. Your contribution will be vital in translating strategic priorities into action on the ground, supported by the systems and tools that will enable colleagues to excel in what they do.
We’re looking for someone who knows the sector well, and who has practical experience of strategy development, policy, governance, corporate business management, change and transformation. You’ll have clear ideas on how to harness digital and AI to enhance the user experience, and an assured approach to people, performance and resource management.
